Since its founding in 2008, Emnett Construction has grown from a regional contractor into a forward-thinking commercial construction firm serving the midwest and southeast regions of the United States. Our Leadership
Jake Emnett - Founder & President
As the company President, Jake leads Emnett Construction’s strategic direction and oversees operations, financial performance, and client relationships, ensuring every project is delivered with the quality and expertise the firm is known for across the Midwest.
Jake launched Emnett Construction in 2008 during the economic downturn, when construction jobs were scarce and he began taking on small projects to stay working. Those early remodels and repairs steadily grew into the full‑service commercial construction firm the company has become.
Before starting the company, Jake honed his skills in business operations and market development as Broker and Director of Operations for a multi‑office real estate group in Raleigh, North Carolina. The experience he gained opening new markets, managing teams, and helping clients through complex transactions continues to influence his approach to construction leadership today.
Outside of work, Jake is an avid rider and outdoors enthusiast. His favorite ways to spend free time include motocross, snowboarding, golfing, wakeboarding, and mountain biking.
Jake attended Shawnee State University and pursued Business Management and Marketing.
